Local Pools:
Lockport Pool
-
From Houma go to
Hwy 90 east and head towards New Orleans you will see a sign that says LA1 and
Grand Isle go South on LA1. From hwy 90 about 7 miles to Lockport stay on Hwy
one when you cross the bridge in Lockport you need to take a left on Church
St. A Chevron station called Smoke Break is on the corner. Go down Church St.
and on the 3rd block the swimming pool is on the right you can’t miss
it. If you pass the Lockport motel you went too far you can turn on school
street and take a right on the first stop sign on 7th st. The pool is
by the ball park. I will send a link from my home which is right across from the
pool since I don’t know the physical address of it.

- Head down Main Street towards Chauvin (Hwy 56).
You will continue straight passing piggly wiggly
and smith ridge bridge. Turn right onto St.
Joseph. If I recall, the fire station and library
are both at this intersection. Continue down St.
Joseph. It will curve around to where the gym is
and the pool is behind the gym. If you follow the
line of cars ast they are turning in you should
find it okay. :) The actual address for those of
you with GPS and/or want to print real directions
it is: 215 Angel Street, Chauvin, Louisiana,
70344.

Work roster- attached is an excel
document with everyone's jobs. Please check for
errors. Example if you are going to be there and
your name isn't on it, or if your not going to be
there and your name is on it. Email me back with
the corrections. I am not changing jobs around or
time slots around. This is a rough draft. I will
have the corrected copy at the pool in Chauvin for
the meet. If you don't have excel or word, both
documents will be at the pool Monday for you to
check.
Items needed
for Meets: swimsuits, goggles, towel
(2), swim cap, extra change of clothes, healthy food
(will give examples later), and things to keep
swimmer busy.
